Licey, pt. 2

So, last week I explained a little bit about Licey. Today I wanted to say a little bit more about it.

Licey is kind of a fun little town. There are a lot of good people here, and sometimes you see things that just make you smile.

The other day we were walking to an appointment and we saw a Mustang (car) that was stuck in a ditch in the road. There were something like twenty people around the car trying to get it out, but it was really stuck. So, obviously, we stopped to help a little bit. Someone brought their truck around to the front of the car, and brought a little bit of rope. So, we helped tie the car to the truck, and then pushed. But sadly the rope broke. So, they found a thicker rope. And we retied the rope that broke and used it too. But sadly there still weren't strong enough, and broke again. So someone found an even thicker rope, tied up the car and the truck again, and finally the car was out of the ditch!

That is something that I like about it here. If there is a problem, everyone that is close by tries to help. Kind of reminds me of when my friends and I helped get cars out of the snow one winter. :D

A different day we were walking and saw some kids fishing in a small pool by the side of the road. They had caught fish bigger than my hand. It made us smile.
